Park
Webb Memorial State Park is a 59-acre peninsula in Weymouth, Massachusetts, extending nearly half a mile into Hingham Bay for stunning Boston Harbor and skyline views.
Originally a Native American campsite called Wessagussett and later a Nike missile site deactivated in 1974, it opened as a state park in 1980 honoring Weymouth police officer William K. Webb. Managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation as the mainland portion of the Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area.
It offers a 1-mile stroller-friendly gravel loop trail past memorials, shaded picnic areas with grills and a reservable pavilion, fishing spots, and year-round access from sunrise to sunset.
